Successful Lateral Hires Please Critique -> SBs

SB(s) for a thorough, thoughtful critique.

My main concerns are as follows:

  1. Transaction experience headers: My wording seems awkward to me. Can't use names since none of my more noteworthy transactions have closed. Specifically, I'm unsure how to describe the companies involved in the transactions. e.g. 'Major Public Airline', 'Low Cost Airline', 'Diversified Travel Company'. Better to say simply "Airline', 'Airline', 'Travel Company'?

  2. For the M&A transaction, am I correct to include the implied transaction value?

  3. Case Study - Get rid of it? Obviously not transaction experience butt was a good exercise. I put it together a day or 2 after the merger was announced, circulated internally (company-wide) first, then to clients.

Thanks so much for your time.

going to agree, your resume seems so busy/hard to follow

The answer to your question is 1) network 2) get involved 3) beef up your resume 4) repeat -happypantsmcgee WSO is not your personal search function.

Too busy, needs more white space, better off leaving out the 'potential' transaction to free up space so you can separate your items by bullet points rather than semi colons.
