Lol really? You're a Wharton Senior and already you have 4+ years of work experience under your belt?

Come'on guys, when have you seen someone with GS and TPG's ego posting their resume on WSO asking for college kids' advice?

What a troll.

What a troll.

First, its a JD/MBA.

Second, who says that he/she has an ego just because of the places that he happened to work?

Third, there are plenty of professionals on this site and it doesn't take someone who has worked at GS/TPG to critique a resume. Usually a fresh pair of eyes is all that is needed.

First of all WAOOOOOOOO :| Your resume is so perfect it's almost unreal.

Now that I get my jaw back, it's not really a critique but I guess people would be curious what you did over this summer (summer 2011). It's generally better not to have any gap in employment history on resume :)

Other than that! Congrats on the JD/MBA

No one graduating from a Wharton/Penn JD/MBA would call themselves a senior or ask a message board for resume tweeks. I am sure this person could call a friend with significant experience if they wanted a 'fresh pair of eyes'

Maybe he has no friends. I'm just giving the guy the benefit of the doubt.

"Michelle" in the username, so most likely a she rather than he if this is to be believed. And you're correct, I'm disinclined to take it at face value simply because someone with that professional experience and at that tier of education would not be posting a resume on this site of all places given their connections (professional and social) and the resources at their immediate disposal. Also, the razume.com uploader titled it as "2h4u," too hot for you? Smells suspicious.

I am permanently behind on PMs, it's not personal.

Ok, a few points

  • This person probably downloaded "Michelle's" resume from a Wharton resume book or got it from a friend (would hope my friends never post my resume online in this fashion)

  • I know an associate in GS TMT, so in one email I could figure out 1) if this resume is real, and who it belongs to or 2) if you're just bullshitting

  • If this is a real resume, then it is highly disrespectful and you WILL take it down. Otherwise, "Michelle" will be notified that an acquaintance is haphazardly posting "her" resume online

  • If this is BS, I'm sorry that you're such a doucher

  • IF you are actually "Michelle"--which I highly doubt--then what is wrong with you? Also, your date formatting is ugly and there are no lines separating your activities... you have a lot of blank space but cut out all of your interests

Following up with the crowd - If you are for real. I do believe your peers at your alma maters and former employers could lend you a pair of eyes; there is a bit of constructive criticism here too. Power to you on your achievements.

If this is a friend trying to piss someone or this entire site off - well done! you are a douche and even though i'm not a big believer in karma - there is enough ammo here to nuke yo' ass.

And finally if you are the person to whom this belongs and did this not for criticism but an ego-boost; It won't really compensate for whatever it is you are lacking (My guess is character... particularly humility or maybe the parents didn't recognize your achievements and you just yearn for that childhood validation).

I know women have a hard time in corporate America, more-so in finance but they are leveling the playing field. The fact you have to advertise yourself says that you, just like some dudes on the street, are a mere tool who can only flaunt their achievements to get laid; but since you're a woman and don't have that issue (Unless you're ugly or frigid). I think you just want to show everyone that women can roll with BSDs too - In that case props again for making something of yourself in life and a spectacle on WSO.

Women, along with rules, are meant to be violated
