2.9 gpa in undergrad can I still break into IB?

Title explains it all, I have 2.9 gpa and I want to break into IB. I recently got accepted into a masters in finance at a target school. I got accepted because I did very well on the GMAT and I also had good reference letters, CV, motivation letter, etc... If I grind in my masters and get a good GPA, will my bachelors gpa still haunt me?

In my experience you can get away with it - leave undergrad GPA off the resume but make sure to have a really convincing story about what happened if you do get asked about it.
