640 GMAT... No Chance at MSF/MiM?

GPA: 3.93 GMAT: 640 (47Q, 31V)

Big bummer... Do I even have a shot any of these programs?

  • LBS MiM
  • LBS MiF
  • LSE Accounting and Finance
  • MIT Msf
  • Columbia MFE

Nova/Duke MMS are more in your league. You can always retake the GMAT though.

Spend time and redo your GMAT. You have a great GPA and if you get that GMAT to the 690-720 range you will be good at most of those schools, with MIT and Columbia being the hardest ones.

As for LBS MIF - do you have work experience? The MIF is for professionals. The MiM is for people with little to no work experience. Just a heads up.

I had meant the LBS financial analysis program

I'm not sure I'll have enough time to take a re-write before the admissiosn are due, might just try to apply for LBS/LSE with what i have
