Accenture vs. JPM AM

I'm an undergrad at a top 15 school. I have an offer with JPM Asset Management and Accenture consulting. I am more interested in the consulting field, but I also know that I want to go into a jd/mba program in the future. My undergrad gpa is high (within the top 5% of the class) and I will be studying for the lsat and gmat soon. Will the JPM brand and prestige give me a better shot in getting into a top 10 jd/mba program? Would my chances be equal no matter the company? Looking for any kind of advice on these companies and their reputations at top b-schools and jd programs.

Your chances would be the same no matter what company you choose. Accenture isn't some no name firm.

"Greed, in all of its forms; greed for life, for money, for love, for knowledge has marked the upward surge of mankind. And greed, you mark my words, will not only save Teldar Paper, but that other malfunctioning corporation called the USA."

IMO, both would be about equal applying for a jd/mba program. I would focus on the lifestyle differences. I don't know which positions you have offers for but I am guessing that Accenture would have you traveling a lot (close to 100%) and JPM would not have you traveling much at all. Also, you may want to consider how the experience gained would affect your choices/opps after business school.

Any opinions/thoughts on what choices/options I might have?

bananafreakYou have to explain what is your role within the AM at JPM to really know your options after Bschool

I would be on an integrated team, not a product or solutions team. This means I would be prospecting clients for a specific market and attending to the client portfolios currently with the bankers or investment advisors that I would support.

LAWMwhat part of jpm am?
pwm

Thank god you told us. Accenture hands down. I know that PWM is technically under JPM AM, but it doesn't have the same prestige as the other parts of the bank like Private Banking or the Institutional side.
