American Spelling and Continental B-Schools
I'm applying to Continental European B-Schools, should I use American or British Spelling conventions? I'm an American applicant.

Actually a very interesting question. I'd say American. Thinking about it from an American school admissions officer's POV, you wouldn't penalize a Brit who said his "favourite colour" was blue, would you? (except for the fact that he was talking about his favorite color in his app essay)
Granted, I'm pretty sure the British are stuffy and old fashioned and still pissed that we aren't one of their colonies, so they may harbor a bit of subtle anti-American sentiment. But if they allow their decision to be swayed by something as trivial as the difference between "ou" and "o," then screw them anyway, right?
