Anyone attends Quantitative Finance (MSF) at Boston College?
Hello, I applied for the quantitative track of MSF at Boston College. Since it's a pretty new program (started in 2012 I believe) I find very limited information on the internet. Could anyone shred some light on this? Especially I want to know about its recruitment after graduation since I have very limited work experience (18 months mainly internships, one of which in a tier-1 IB, but I really don't enjoy the M&A lifestyle and decided to switch to quant).
I come from Europe and want to seek a research related job in the US (also considering a PhD). My undergrad (BS Finance) GPA is 3.6/4 (cum) and GMAT 740. I had an exchange at University of Chicago but the courses were not that mathematical. Of course I expect something more than BC (I applied for MIT as well) but just in case I get rejected by MIT, I wonder if BC is worth going.
Any opinions are welcomed!
Thanks in advance!
