Average Months of Work Experience

Question: If I apply for an MBA in October but won't start school until the following September, how is my months of work experience viewed?

I'm asking because most profiles list an average number of months work experience as part of the class profile. If I apply in october with 48 months, will the school consider the next 10 months I'm still employed and put my statistics as 58 months? Or is it the number of months upon initial application?

Oh the apps I filled out, most of them asked how many months of work experience I would have at matriculation.
