B-School Question
I'm about to finish my investment banking analyst program pretty soon and will have a decent hiatus until I start my pe job (~3-4 months). Would b-schools be understanding if I spend most of this time traveling or is there something I should be doing to fill this void (e.g. volunteering)? Thanks.
It depends on how active you were during your analyst program. If you've put in your occasional weekend of volunteering throughout your 2 years, you should be fine. Otherwise, you could maybe consider a combination of traveling and volunteering - there are plenty of programs that give you that opportunity.
