Bentley University Macc

I applied to, and received admission to Bentley and Boston College for their respective Macc programs and cannot for the life of me decide on which one to choose. Tuition for the two are more or less the same, as is their locations I find the Bentley curriculum to be a little more interesting but not a huge factor really.

My problem is that while BC is higher ranked overall, Bentley seems to have an edge in the accounting field and I am pulled between the the two(I know BC isn't exactly ivy, but it is probably looked at as a tier above Bentley). I checked out linkedin for alum in top accounting firms and they are almost identical in terms of nyc /boston /d.c with Bentley having more accounting alum, could this be due to the fact that they are primarily a business school?

With career prospects in big 4 audit/advisory and possibly gov't jobs in mind, which would be the better choice? Also, anyone with some experience or info on these programs would help a lot. Thanks guys & gals.

Both schools you will have no problem getting a big 4 job. Go to BC because it has a better name, not that it really matters though because both schools will get you were you want to go.

I would imagine Bentley has a better Macc program as that is what they are primarily known for. I've known a couple that have gotten that Macc from Bentley and they are doing very well (for an accounting degree). Bentley is recruited heavily by all of the Big 4.

If you want to work in Boston, I'de say Bentley. If you want NY, maybe do BC.

My name is Nicky, but you can call me Dre.
