Best non-UK university for London IBD

Asking about undergraduate programs. I'm already applying to UK targets. I've heard that usually folks from europe need to do a masters. Is there any undergrad program in Europe where I stand a good chance of breaking into IBD only after a bachelor?

HEC and Bocconi are the best here but the others are still pretty good. Would add ESADE to the list as well.

"DealOrNoDealBanker" Ireland: UCD, Trinity France: HEC, ESSEC Italy: Bocconi, Luiss Germany: WHU, Mannheim, Ludwig

Luiss lol. Is that some sort of joke?

I can say a significant number of master's graduates from RSM class of 2019 in my network (15+) went on to IB roles all over Europe, majority T1-3. I know of 4 that are in London BB IB and I'm certain it would be more, but not everyone wants to live in London.

Given the amount of RSM IB analysts from my personal network alone, it surprises me that it's not talked up more in terms of European target schools.

edit: I should add that these are just non Dutch students. If you're from RSM and soak Dutch, you're top of the pile for Dutch banks.

What are is your nationality/languages? That makes a difference on which universities would work for you

If you go through the spring weeks you don't need a MSc, as HR do the screen

I am a non-EU citizen, currently learning french. I mainly focusing on the UK schools, but would like to have a backup option in continental Europe.

If you are a non-EU/non-EMEA citizen I recommend focusing your efforts for UK schools, have a backup (semi target) in your UCAS. You would only be considered from top continental European schools at the masters level - ie HEC MiF.

You can check a target school list here: https://www.wallstreetoasis.com/forums/20-most-frequently-asked-questio…

Yeah I agree - UK guys will do the screen for you, and in that case it’s best to stick to UK universities.

Interesting about the MSc thing - I remember on my springs there were some Europeans (but that was a long time ago)

Not sure that's what you meant. But I am from MENA region. Since London IB is extremely competitive it's good to have backup options. So for other regional english speaking offices would King's college be better than Bocconi(example)?

"Intern in IB - Gen" The system in France is completely different. For non-french people HEC Paris offers postgraduate program only.

second this

"JustAnAnalyst" There are more HEC people than any other university in the world in London banks

don't exaggerate pls. That's extremely inaccurate.
