Breaking into credit post-MBA?
After a year in IB (M&A) and a few years in the corporate world, have been learning more about the credit space in my free time for a while. Was not interested in the "traditional" PE route after IB and went to a corporate but have not particularly enjoyed the job either. I've seen people go from M&A to credit but my current experience is not very relevant to investing roles. Would an MBA be a way to get into the credit investing space, or would that still require going back to IB first before making the move?
