Bucknell vs U of Miami

I committed to Bucknell University about 3 weeks ago but I just got off the waitlist at the University of Miami. I know both of these schools are non target but I would like to know which would make it more possible for me to break into IB? The price at both of these are the same and I don’t really have a personal preference but UM since like a pretty good party school.

Hate to break it to ya but neither school is going to be any less of an uphill battle for NYC IB. I guess I would go to whichever one you feel is more of a fit. It seems like that is UM for being a "party school". Hate to break it to ya, but if you're really looking forward to being party school IB might not be the perfect career fit.

U Miami because kids there HUSTLE. Ik a few of people from UM in FO positions and they are all hungry af. Bucknell is a good school w a strong alumni network. BUT, in my opinion being in an international city will benefit you more than Lewisburg PA.

I've seen zero Bucknell students during my IB years and maybe one from Miami.

I would say both are pretty comparable in terms of name recognition, but Miami is a far better place to go to school.
