Business School Outside of Europe for IB/PE

Quick Background: I graduated with a 1st Class degree from a UK target, and have been working in investment banking in my home country for about a year now (ignore the name tag).

I’m considering applying for an MFin or MiM in the near future and wanted to get some perspective on whether it makes sense for an international applicant like me to apply to programs outside of London. I also speak French, so I’ve been looking into French schools, but I’m not sure how strong the recruiting opportunities are in Europe, especially in the current market.

Given my bg is it worth applying to European schools as well, or should I just stick to London? Would love to hear both the pros and cons. Thank you!

Your title says outside, your body says inside?
Where do you want to work. HEC/Bocconi > SSE/ESSEC etc. Always best to go to school where you want to work, though HEC or bocconi for instance affords you more internship time than a UK masters BUT you are already working in the field so may be a moot point.

Why not think about a MBA in a few years? For that, your best bet is Insead / LBS. If you want a specific masters of finance for existing professionals, LBS also has a masters in finance too.

There are other good European regional schools HEC / Bocconi are very good but they lack the international / global prestige that Insead / LBS can provide you - so I would stick to the latter two which are highly regarded everywhere.

If you speak French then HEC and Escp make a lot of sense to target broadly paris and London. Of course LBS, oxbridge and the likes might be better if your goal was London only.
