Carnegie Mellon, semi-target?
I see lots of strong, non-Ivy schools mentioned in this forum that are high feeders into Wall Street. How well regarded would you say CMU is? Would it be semi-target at best? I know the school is heavy into engineering/computer science, but gets good overall/business school reputation because of it.
CMU Tepper is honestly solid, I would say it's probably a semi-target
Okay its a semi since less people apply but I’m a freshman and got a bb interview and multiple places. I mean just network cmu network is outstanding
Probably the same way people view Johns Hopkins. Based on the strength of their main program, but people think you're reasonably smart.
You can absolutely break in from CMU with a little effort. Great school, students just aren’t focused on finance there.
