Columbia MBA employment for internationals
Hi, I work in London (UK citizen) and plan to attend the CBS J term MBA (hopefully within the Value investing program too) next January. I'm 28, 5yoe at a boutique £1B long-only fund, but wish to move to the US after the MBA. How likely is it for me to be sponsored (h1b) by some asset manager (T Rowe, Capital Group, etc.) or even smaller long-only/hedge funds? Would they hire me for the OPT period only?
