Columbia or Brown for ED?
I wish to go into IB, venture or a hedge fund, I know that HYSPW is out of reach so I have decided in-between these two: Brown or Columbia for finance?

Columbia
Both are good names but Columbia > Brown. Columbia has better / more finance & business coursework, a deeper alumni network (esp. with the business school, which significantly widens your net), and more optionality being in NYC. Also, I recommend casting a wide net for admissions, don't count yourself out before the admissions board has a chance to. You never know where you might fit in to some counselors plan for that years class.
go where you like the people most and feel you fit in best. you won't have an issue breaking into finance from either school. sure columbia has a stronger presence but less Brown kids will be gunning for IBD and therefore u may have an easier time networking. and having fun is a huge part of college
Columbia, although both are great choices so don't lose sleep over this
