Columbia University in NY: which program?

Hi guys, I'm looking around for the best postgraduate course in NY/USA/London. For you, for a career in IB or HF which program has the best ROI at Columbia in NY? I'm European so I will spend a lot of money and make debts for this, so I'm considering all the way. I saw programs such as Finance or Applied Analytics has high costs but there are a lot of scholarships available over the banks loan.

SIPA or CBS masters then.

I'm sure @whattherock" will have some comments on this.

I personally think that the MSFE at CBS is an elite program, although it's a bit long for a Ms- 2 years- it's a phd lite program with strong stats, placing people at Associate level.

Not sure if you have the required quant background? Do you?

CBS has other masters but there are differing views - some say cash cows - some say strong brand and strong academics.

What have you heard?

Just saw your post that you are still in undergrad. You should wait a few years to apply to Columbia's grad school programs (particularly the MBA program). If your goal is an associate position in investment banking, you should apply to Columbia's full-time MBA program down the line. Ignore the other money-generating programs that don't offer you the same career resources as the MBA program.

Aren't H1B visas a non-starter? Keep in mind the proposed changes would further limit how many can be issued. The best way to move abroad is through the company you work for.

The OP won't get into Columbia's MBA program without work experience...for good reason, post-MBA roles aren't meant to be entry level jobs.
