Combining a traineeship with a thesis

Here it goes, my maiden speech.

Do you guys think it is possible to combine writing a thesis with a traineeship? When I attended a business course of a big4 m&a department I aimed at getting an internship. After the business course they offered me a full time traineeship. At first I wanted to finish one degree and then start the job. Now I am wondering whether you guys would recommend getting my second degree while working the job?

Has anyone ever combined a thesis with a full time job or any insights on the value of an extra degree?

Current situation: I enrolled at a European business school and planned to get a master’s degree in both finance and accountancy. Currently I am finishing my thesis in finance, which leaves only 1 course and a thesis open for the master’s in accounting.
