How many hours of community service do you think one should have to stand out on a b-school app (considering all other factors equal)? Possibly over the course of several years, 500?
Would volunteering at an animal shelter/city zoo be looked upon less favorably than say Big Brothers/Sisters (or a more human-focused non-profit)?
How big of a boost do you think several hundred hours of volunteer work over the course of a few years would give you with regards to making up for a low GPA (competitive GMAT though)
