Computer for MSF

I know this topic has been discussed many times on this site but I figured I'd post anyway.  I'm starting my MSF this Fall and I'm getting a new computer.  I had a MacBook Pro through undergrad and like how easy it is to use and how I can text from my computer and have my phone connected with no issues.  However, I feel like a PC might be better for school especially if I'm doing a lot of excel work, modeling, etc.  Is it worth making the switch or should I just buy another MacBook and have a separate Windows side?
