CPA to top B-School

I am going to be graduating from a non-target in December with a ~3.7 GPA and will be getting my CPA. If I’m able to obtain a 700 GMAT score what’s the possibly I get into an MBA program on a similar school as Stern or Booth? I’ll be working at a regional CPA that is really big in the real estate industry (not big 4).

while it is fantastic that you are already thinking about business school before you complete your undergrad, it is really too early to tell whether or not you'll be competitive at a top school. Your undergrad performance and work experience (which you haven't even started so can't demonstrate impact or contribution) are only two pieces of a holistic evaluation.

That said, these two are a strong foundation for you. Over the next few years, look to build your leadership profile both in and outside of work. Develop relationships with your managers and well-picked mentors so they will be able to call you out as 'best in peer group.' Figure how WHY you need an MBA and where you want it to take you (perhaps a role in the real estate industry?) then identify the programs that have the resources you need to acheive your goals.

I encourage you to get your standardized test behind you while you are still in student mode!

Good luck!
