Current MBA student starting at my program in the EU, but looking to work in the USA

I am starting my program this fall at a Tier 2 (Non-UK) school as I have moved to my fiance who is currently working and awaiting her visa for the USA. This was a personal decision and I know it does make it much more difficult to network and limits my outreach for alumni as most stick within the EU. I was wondering what the best way to go about the job search?

Current Resume:

1 Year Financial Analyst at a University -2016-17 2 Years of Corporate Strategy at F500 Automotive (Worked with 2 Tech-Startups) - 2017-19 Consultant for a Tech Startup - Current (15-20 hrs/wk) Summer Assc at REPE - Current (15-20 hrs/wk) Student Assistant at PE - Fall 19 currently lined up (15-20 hrs/wk)

Bachelors in Finance - Non-Target; 3.72 GPA

I am interested in working in PE or Corp Strategy, but they are of course very difficult to break into, let alone trying to do so while networking from the other side of the world. Any advice on how I go about my job search? They do place decently well with MBB and regionally in their boutique PE firms, but not sure how to leverage that.
