Deferred MBA - Recommendation letters

Currently a senior with an FT offer after graduation and did an internship at the same firm the summer before. Is it appropriate to ask the VP or the Analyst (worked closely with the Analyst both but the VP was basically the supervisor + it was a virtual internship due to COVID) for a recommendation letter? In that way, I can get one from a professor and another from a professional. Otherwise, I can ask my supervisor from my sophomore internship with whom I still have contact with.

Honestly would ask the person who knows you better and could write the better recommendation. The analyst still was your supervisor and probably can attest to your grit and diligence, would prob go that way if it were me but up to you
