'degree is not important as long as you're from the target schools' is this a british thing, or more of a general thing?
When it comes to the jobs like consulting, private equity, or even IB, many british fellas have said that major is not that important- however, i wonder if this is applicable on a global scale. (since i want to major non-quant degrees)
