Agree with above, those schools are practically targets albeit they may not have the same amount of alumni at the top firms/funds as compared to like penn or whatever. Chances are if you are interested in any of the big firms, there are already alumni of your school there who can help you join / guide you through a recruiting process. Good luck 

 

I can tell you firsthand that UT McCombs is a target for all Houston BBs and EBs and a very strong semi target for NY BBs and EBs. If you know you want to go into ib as a freshman you can get into a program called WSFM which has incredible resources and placement. Wish I had enough clout to get in as a junior with an offer but still respect them and highly recommend the program.
