Does exchange school’s prestige matter?

I am currently at a non-target Canadian. I have the opportunity to go to a target in UK for a year. Should I take it? Downside is I will be missing on my school's finance club's leadership positions and Toronto networking. I won't be getting "life changing experience" either. It's UK not some exotic place.

I don't think anyone would really care about the prestige of a study abroad program outside of maybe a full year at Oxford or something

Strong disagree. If you go to Southbank Uni and do an exchange semester at Cornell they will care lmao

Doesn't make a difference, you're still a Southbank student. You just decided to LARP in America for a little bit. Also if someone did go southbank they wouldn't have the grades for summers/grad schemes anyway i'd assume

We score CVs based on the school someone went to. We don't score the exchange school lol
