Dual-Degree Business School/Engineering School

Hello,
I'm currently a student at HEC Paris, pursuing the Master in Management course. I would like to know what opportunities do you think applying to the French École Polytechnique for a dual degree may offer me in finance, especially in London and Paris. I think I want to go for quant finance but I'm not 100% sure yet. For what other fields than quant would such a degree REALLY make a difference ?

The problem is that the dual degree is very selective, and studying math too much could make me neglect other subjects and may negatively impact my total GPA.

What do you guys think about it ?
