Exchange School Outside of the US Before Starting Full-time Job?
Hey everyone,
I'm interning at a BB this summer and will be starting my full-time job in June 2024. I'm considering going to an exchange school outside of the US (like in Europe) in the Fall of 2023, but I'm unsure if it's a good idea. My concern is that I will be competing with many of my peers who will be starting their full-time positions from August to October after the summer internship.
My goal is to start off my career in New York, and I'd appreciate any insight on whether taking a semester abroad is a good idea. If anyone has any experience with this or knows someone who has, I would love to hear your thoughts. I'd also like to know the general full-time recruiting timeline(when would that wrap up) from past years. Thanks in advance for your help!
