Extreacurricular

Hello everybody,

I was writing my cv when i noticed that the "extracurricular" field was empty. Not surprised, i've never done anything other than school. Now according to many posts here I have to do other non-academic activities if I want to have a strong profile. So what did you guys do when you were student. What kind of extracurriculars are business schools and firms really looking for.

TBH, I would advise against wasting space on your CV by putting extracurriculars. Interesting hobbies stand out much more - personally I've always been asked about my poker and sports betting experiences which makes for a much more interesting conversation. Overseas experiences are great too.

Find something you are interested in, not what the recruiters want - which is the whole point of having extracurriculars anyway.
