Farmers school of business vs others
Hello All,
I wanted to garner some thoughts on Farmers Business school at University of Miami vs other business schools? Would you say it’s a B target school or slightly lower?
Not a target
At all or it’s a long reach and you just have to make yourself known to the recruitment and cold call or email more than say a target school?
Possible but its a reach, you would need solid internships and a lot fo networking to even have a shot. Still possible but it's not on the same level as the other schools you mentioned like UVA and Cornell. Miami isn't even a semi-target, although it isn't a completely no name school.

Consistently ranked Top-50 ug business school... but what are you trying to compare it to exactly? Regardless Oxford’s one helluva town.
btw Farmer not Farmers. Miami U not U of Miami.
If I had to compare it to other schools such as UVA, Cornell or other well known business schools. I was curious in terms how it is overall and if there is a presence of Wall Recruitment and is there a large alum group in the NYC area?

UVA & Cornell are on a whole other level. Very few Miami alumni in NYC, but many in the midwest (CHI/CLE).
