First Gen -> MM PE -> B-School?

I am a first gen college student. I recently accepted an offer to work for a middle market private equity firm where I plan to work for 2-3 years before pursuing an MBA.

My question:

Will either of these factors help or hurt me when applying to top 10 MBA programs:

1) the fact that I am a first gen college student

2) my career start at a small MM PE shop with one local location and one NYC location
