First-Year University Grade on CV for IB Recruiting?
Hey everyone,
I’ve just finished my first year as an undergraduate at LSE and am heading into my second year. I’m currently updating my CV for upcoming applications in investment banking, private equity, etc., and I’m unsure how best to present my university grades.
I finished first year with a 65.4% average. Would you recommend putting the actual percentage on my CV, or should I write something like “Expected 2:1” or “Expected First”?
Given that this is LSE, I’m also wondering whether there’s a preferred way to frame the grade, particularly for IB/PE applications. I want to present my academics in the strongest way possible without overstating anything.
Would appreciate any advice on how you’d phrase the education section. Thanks!
