Both fordham and St. John’s are non target, however fordham pushes kid to IB, Atleast 5-10kids to IB every year, they have a recruiting team at Goldman and Barclays, 1-2 kids get to JPM every year. St. John’s from my knowledge is a great school for pharmacist but have no to little presence in IB so would pick fordham. With that being said, you have to put the work in day one you step into fordham (gpa, networking, small internship) with enough hard work I would say there is a chance you will land something in IB even if it’s very low tier banks mizuho smbc etc

A bunch of St. John's alum are in BB/MM/EB in various roles from back office to front office, Fordham probably emphasizes finance more than St. John's because SJU has other programs that are better than finance. With either school, you're going to have to work your butt off to make it worth it. I know both schools have a SMIF, so try to participate in that wherever you end up going.
