look into the ms in commerce program at uva. a mason degree will close doors.

how did you end up at mason?

Hit up your alums - I came from a non-target and ended up in a reputable restructuring shop but this was in 2008 - however I got the most leads by pounding the pavement and calling around like crazy for any lead possible. Try and do something finance related after your jr year - boutique M&A, e.g. and also realize not 'everyone' in finance is from an ivy league, and plenty of those who aren't actually like to see a non-ivy, especially if they have faith that they're gonna kick butt on the job.

What precisely are you looking to do? I really think a 3.9 at George Mason can get you places, a classmate of mine at LSE went there and he's kicking butt.

if you like it then you shoulda put a banana on it
