Getting an internship at Akuna from non-target school.

Hello, I am  a current freshman studying computer science student at University of Minnesota(Non-target), and I want to get an internship at Akuna Captial or another prop firm. Can anyone provide advice on what I should do? At the moment, I have been grinding leetcode, I am going to start working working on reading Introduction to Counting and Probability and Intermediate Counting and Probability by David Patrick from the Art of Problem Solving (Art of Problem Solving), while also working on AIME art of problem solving questions(Math comp. questions). I am going to be doing a personal cs project focused on the markets equities and I have already created an equity alert bot as well as other more CS related projects.

Any comments will be appreciated.
