Hi all,
I'm planning to beginning prep to take the GMAT later this year and I'm looking for a good comprehensive study plan. I've done a little research into the various providers (Kaplan, Manhattan, etc.), and have decided I want to fully self study, meaning no classes. Can anyone make a recommendation for the materials they used as well as how they structured their study time? I'm giving myself about 3 months and currently have the bandwidth to put some real time into it. Open to any and all advice.

Thanks for the mention. But it was too long ago for me, so I don't remember. I self studied as well and just bought a book and went through it.

Don't remember my exact structuring but I took a practice test cold, then went through all of the MGMAT books, then took the gmatquantum.com math course. I took a practice test every few weeks to gauge progress.
I self studied with the above and went from 620 cold to 740 actual in 10-12 weeks
I've heard mixed reviews on taking a cold practice, with the major detractor being that you should save any crack at the real thing for when you're ready in order to more accurately gauge your weaknesses. Any thoughts on this?
I actually recommend taking a diagnostic test. You don't need to take an official one, but it would be better if you do.

Cheers I think it's going to be the quant portion that I'll need to focus on more heavily so this is helpful.
I can't recommend TTP enough. The course is phenomenal. It's a lot of work though, so be cut out to develop a consistent, palatable study habit that will ensure you continually progress through say 2 topics each week
Does anyone have experience with Manhattan Prep's in person classes?
I went to a free class of theirs and decided not to continue after the teacher said something like "there are 30 of you in the room and only 10% of people score 700+ statistically so we are not going to focus on 700+ level questions" or something to that extent
