Going back to finish Bachelors, could use some help.

Hey all, I'll try to keep it as short as possible. I searched previous topics on WSO but couldn't find anything that quite matches my situation. Hopefully this isn't a stupid question:

-Went to BU for one year, did terrible (partied, never went to class) dropped out..GPA 1.7
-Went to community for one semester to get back on track GPA 4.0.
-Dean at BU granted me readmission

However, parents are no longer in the picture financially, so the cost of finishing at BU will probably be between $50k-90k TOTAL (best case-worst case after I get a response to my FinAid appeal). My other option at the moment is UMass Boston, which will only cost me about 10k total.

Obviously UMass Boston isn't even close to ranking near BU, which is already a non target, maybe bordering semi-target from what I hear.

The last thing to consider: I've built a good relationship with the dean, so we may be able to figure out a way to turn one or two F's into incomplete's, but there's a good chance I'm stuck with them. That said, even if I make 4.0 for my remaining time at BU (which I think is realistic to come close) at most I graduate with probably 3.5.

I appreciate anyone who chimes in. BTW Finance major, getting all A's in major. Obviously I'm completely open to other options if anyone has a better idea.
