Good Business School Activities

With the 60/80/100 hr weeks, where do individuals find the time/hours for extra curricular and , volunteer projects that look good for business school apps.

Would anyone have recommendations regarding things I may do outside of work (charities, comm. service, etc.) that have in the past looked favorably when applying to B-Schools?

Thanks

i wouldnt worry too much about extracurriculars, unless there is something you are really passionate about. If you devote a ton of time to something or started a non-profit, that's one thing, but beyond that I don't think it matters for admissions. Same logic for this myth of firm prestige. McKinsey will get you a bump, but there isn't much difference between the 6th and 600th best consulting firm

You should do extra curricular or non-profit work because you WANT to, not because you think it will make your b-school app look good. If it's a hobby you genuinely desire to pursue, you'll find time for it.
