Graduation date affecting my job offer?

Hey guys, would really appreciate your advice on this matter because I'm really not sure what to do...

I received a verbal offer from HR from a BB for an analyst role. I'm graduating this summer (Aug class of 2021), because I flunked a course during my winter semester and need to complete an online course this summer.

When I was on the phone with HR, they stated they wanted me to start next month so I could be onboarded with the rest of the incoming analyst class. They asked when I would be done my coursework/get my degree and I said it would likely be in August. HR sounded concerned and said the degree requirement would be needed so I could start my work and training, but I did assure them that I could complete my course alongside my work because it's not very time consuming. The conversation ended with me telling them I'd get back to my school and double check my graduation dates etc.

What should I do in this situation? It is very unlikely I can apply for an earlier graduation date much less finish my coursework earlier. If I'm honest with HR, would I lose my job offer?
