HBS/INSEAD MBA Dual Program?

Hey fellow members,

I recently read an article about a guy who is a successful entrepreneur and who somehow completed a HBS/INSEAD Dual MBA.

Can anyone explain how he did this? Did the schools have some kind of agreement?

According to the article, he completed the INSEAD MBA and then joined the HBS program for the 2nd year of study, and earned his second MBA.

Thanks for any help.

He wasn't always a billionaire and INSEAD is not undergrad, as he completed his undergrad studies (medicine and chemistry, later business studies and law) in Germany.

This is from his German wikipedia article, again with Google translation.

After that Broermann visited the French management school INSEAD in Fontainebleau and the Harvard businesses School in Boston. He completed both managements schools with the MBA title with the predicate High Distinction under the best 5% of its year.
