Health Care MBA
I've heard a little bit about Health Care specific MBA programs. I'm currently in the process of doing my own research but I would appreciate if someone that may have been through it may be able to provide some color with respect to the degree. Would it be worth pursuing? Is it well-respected? Is it really more valuable than a traditional MBA?
Thanks in advance.
And would this program typically be geared toward someone with a medical background looking to transition to the business side, or the opposite?
I would imagine this is one of the more prestigious programs:

The Wharton one is good, too. You even hvae to interview separate for it (meaning, in addition to the regular admissions interview you have to do).

i heard duke has one of the best for healthcare...
I know a guy who did the MBA / MPH at Haas. Haas is a top school and he ended up at McKinsey so I would rank that high among options.

He had an undergrad degree in biology or microbiology and previously worked in something research oriented but he wasn't a doctor or anything.
