HEC MiF | Profile evaluation & recruitment

[repost, again, for obvious reasons]

Hello everyone. I'm thinking about aiming for business schools outside of London, apparently they're even more common in neighbouring cities. The MSc in international finance at HEC Paris is placing really really well for London IB, as per what I've seen on LinkedIn. I tried to contact students there but as expected no one is responding '-'

here's my profile, I'd really appreciate your help:

GPA: 3.4

GMAT: retook it last week, scored 750 (Q50V42)

experience: 1 corporate banking internship

do you think I have a good chance?

also, the website states specifically that the program is 1 year; however, graduates who landed IB jobs have the duration at 2 or 3 years on their LinkedIn profiles. where does that discrepancy come from?

Your profile should be fine to enter the program as your GMAT is quite high compared with most peers

The lenght discrepancies, if nothing has changed during last years, may come from:

- You are looking at MiMs (2 years of studies + Gap year) instead of MiF

- You can graduate after 1.5 years (1 year of studies + time to graduation & FP)

Anyways it places quite well, but thats also due to the high quality of its students
