HEC PARIS

What is the general opinion about HEC Paris as a finance B school ? Is it considered to be a top school in europe for the MBA ?

Would the HEC MBA lead to a good shot at breaking into a BB in Europe ?

Thanks

Yea, #1 in France....Essec is a somewhat close 2nd, but it doesn't have nearly the same reputation/attention as HEC for some reason

You meant "Europe".

lurkerfor some reason

http://rankings.ft.com/businessschoolrankings/european-business-school-… I'm not saying that the rankings reflect the true value of the schools, it's just that you were talking about reputation/attention. (And the fact they tried to advertise their undergraduate program as an MBA obviously messed up international recognition of the diploma.)

Concerning the MBA though, HEC Paris seems to be still a bit behind INSEAD.
