Hedge fund recruiting at Booth
I was reading a chat transcript sponsored by Chicago Booth, which featured MBA students who were entering the financial field after graduation. One guy who was going into banking said in response to a question that very few hedge funds actually recruit at Booth, so you would need to do a lot of networking and do off-campus searches to get into HF. He also said that a decent number of top chicago prop trading firms recruit at Booth.
How accurate is this guy's statement? I had always thought Booth was pretty good when it came to hedge fund recruiting.
