Hot Girls at B-School

I want to hear you guys take. Lets say I want to go to a b-school in the top 25-30, where are the hottest girls? What have you heard?

I'm assuming UCLA is up there and I know the Chapel Hill girls are hot...Lets hear some insight

I'm not amazingly familiar with anything outside the top 10-15 or so. Here's my thoughts (purely glanced from visits and hearsay):

Yay: HBS, Kellogg, Stanford, Tuck, Duke, UCLA, USC, NYU

Nay: Berkeley, Wharton, MIT, Chicago, Columbia, Cornell

Probably what you'd expect.. kind of the usual suspects. NYU has the highest female-male ratio in the country I think at around 40% Females, many of whom are single. I've known many single girls who turned down places like Chicago and Kellogg for NYU because they wanted to live in NYC really bad.

I'm going to have to say that finding hot girls in top biz schools are about the same as finding them in BB IB analyst classes, they're there but pretty few and far between. My class (2011) this year has one girl in our group out of nine new analysts. And let me clarify, they are probably going to be cute not hot. Why would a really hot chick go to B school? They could just hangout & let one of us losers do it for her.

Not quite as bad as Finance. You're going to have people from all walks of life looking at many different kinds of business careers in B-School. Finance really only makes up about 25-40% at Finance heavy schools and 10-20% at GM oriented schools.

And yes, Duke Fuqua has a ton of talent. Go visit sometime and you will see for yourself. Keep in mind this is compared to other TOP B-Schools. If you wanna compare this to Nursing Schools, Undergrads or the Arizona State MBA program, not a fair comparison.

If this is actually within the top 5 or 6 criteria that you are judging a business school by, you are about make a terrible investment of money and time.

I could understand if you were a single guy that wants to be in a big city and not a rural locale, but judging your classmates? You can't be this stupid.

Biz school is about social life and networking (read: having a blast) more than anything. Partying with hot girls is better than doing so with ugly girls.

Plus, it'll be valuable to know all those future institutional equities saleswomen at GS.

Yeah, I was gonna make that point. Not just sales, but marketing and PR as well. Hot girls who learn how to be nice effectively become mega networking machines (no offense, seriously). And yeah, that kinda interaction would be valuable ;)

The question was in the top 25 where are the hottest girls. There are many factors to consider when choosing a program. My question is why would you go to a school with ugly girls and a great program versus an institution that has hot girls and is on par with the ugly school on the basis of education. To me its a no brainer.

To your point, I would never go to a school strictly based on female attractiveness. That would be stupid.

If your out at Dartmouth though, I mean I would give my left nut to go to Tuck, but two years is a long time to be stuck out in the woods with some burly biz gals, but yes I agree, pretty foolish to base your decision around the caliber of babes.

Bumping this thread a bit, I've meet at least half a dozen girls who went to top 6-7 programs. As a generalization I would say none of them are "ugly", however I would describe them as moderately cute, well put together (workout consistently, dress well, lack of STD's, etc...) probably your best girl-friend in HS, wanted you to take her to prom but couldn't because it would be like "taking your sister". So if your expecting Megan Fox look-a-likes running around Sloan, Booth, & Wharton, you'll be sorely disappointed. I'm not saying they're not there (I really haven't spent any substantial time on those campuses), just doubtful. Which goes back to the og point, chicks come after b-school.

I gotta agree with Westfald, hot girls don't go to B-School. There are quite a few cute ones but hot girls like the type you find in UG ? few and far between. The hot ones would rather just leach off us than waste their own money studying. I went to UG B-School side by side with MBA students and there were very few cute MBA chicks

JulianRobertsonI went to UNC for undergrad, and the girls are gorgeous. I'm not too sure about the MBA program girls, but the business school isn't really isolated from campus, and everyone in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area comes to Chapel Hill to party.

I remember reading in Tucker Max's book that the best pickup line is to go to UNC and tell a girl, "Yeah, I go to Duke Law".

Dude, just go to the best B school with the hottest undergrads. MBA chicks are not going to be about getting laid (most of them anyway). Prey on the UG's and you will reap dividends.

If you go to Columbia, NYU Stern, or Chicago Booth then you can just bypass the MBA girls and go after the general population of attractive single girls in NYC or Chicago. At any of those schools, you're going to spend your nights out at regular bars (rather than the college bars of non-urban schools) and will be around a much better singles scene than you will be at most schools.

I'd include Harvard and MIT Sloan in this, but Boston girls are fugly.

I am in the UK and have spoken to alum of various schools and a lot mention UCLA. Like jjc said I would go to Harvard, Wharton etc like a shot. But would assume that the better the school the less the attractiveness meter. If there is one hottie there everyone will be over her.

I think we are missing the obvious who cares about the business class, there will probably hot undergrads all over the place. They will probably be a lot more fun.

Even though these schools aren't top 10 MBA's but they are still good I'd say USC or University of Texas would have a lot of hot girls.

Wharton has the lowest percentage of married people and people with partners (20% vs. 50% or so at Kellogg, Tuck, Darden, etc.). So the social life there is probably more what like what you're used to in ugrad than at other MBA programs. But like all the rest, only about a third female. And don't get your hopes up about ugrads. Everyone I knew at b-school tried their hardest, but very few succeeded (at least with anything that you weren't ashamed of later on). Your best best will be the other grad schools. So a place like Harvard, Wharton, Columbia, etc. where there are a ton of other grad students will help you out. That said, you guys may all think pretty highly of yourselves, but the bottom line is, most of the people in these programs don't tend to be the best looking from a superficial point of view. You'll never find a top grad program (or ugrad, really) that has the level of talent (girls or guys) of, say, and Arizona State or something.

Indiana has some of the best trim in the big ten imo. You can call me biased but even the undergraduate b-school has its fair share of foxes. Overall though, the campus as a whole cant be beat.

Dammit. My post got cut off. Wharton has the lowest percentage of married people and people with partners (20% vs. 50%+ at Kellogg, Tuck, etc.), so the social life at Wharton is better than at some of the others. But either way, let's face it, smart people just ain't the prettiest. And don't get your hopes up about hooking up with ugrads. I watched many of my buddies try, and most failed. That said, lots of activity amongst the grad students. So if you go to a school that has lots of other professional schools (i.e. Harvard, Penn, Columbia) you'll have some options.

but is it Columbia chicks or NYC chicks? cuz NYC chicks is another story...they're hot but you ain't gonna get them as a poor student. They go for $$$$$.

Since when are students in business school poor? Even if they are poor (their company isn't paying or they didn't save from their previous job), it's temporary poverty. Shouldn't keep you from getting a hot girl with some kind of long-run view.

Dude, don't get too excited. If the undergrad in question is Harvard, Penn, Columbia, etc. then the undergrads aren't all that hot either! Better than the MBAs, yes, but still nowhere near, say Arizona.

Hotness of your fellow MBA classmates is only a concern at schools in the middle of nowhere (thus, few), where there isn't a whole city of women to fall back on.

i.e. The girls may be beastly land-monsters at Harvard, but you've got the whole city of Boston to score tail in.
