How do I get into target schools

Hey monkeys,

I am a first year student in a liberal arts program in Europe and would like to get into a target school in the US (Georgetown, Harvard, …) or into LSE/ Bocconi/HEC Paris.

I am currently focusing on getting my GPA as high as possible but was wondering if there are other important things that I should do (internships,…) anything that could boost my odds of getting in.

Thanks for any advice!!
