How important is Undergrad GPA for getting into elite level B-School?
Dear all,
For context, I am currently a senior in a target undergrad university (though not an ivy league school) about to graduate with around a 3.6 GPA (Cum Laude). I have worked in Private Equity for two years at more of a family-run office, had an internship last summer at a traditional MM PE Firm, and will be joining a MM PE Firm in NYC next year full time.
Will I eventually need an MBA to keep progressing in the latter stages of my career? If so, how well-positioned am I to get into an elite-level school like Wharton for example?
Looking forward to hearing thoughts. Thanks.
