How is Indiana University (non-Kelley major?)

I chose to apply for a non-kelley major only because I am an international and to get that STEM OPT extension I needed to look out of Kelley. My major will be Economic Quant Methods and I was a direct admit (don't know if that's an advantage). Though I got a decent scholarship, it will still cost me 50k usd a year to attend. Also, I guess getting into IBW as a non-kelley major is near to impossible. I am yet to receive all of my other decisions, just wondering how good/bad this option is.

yeah just gonna be honest with you, that's not a good option and you will almost certainly not break into IB. firms will assume you didn't get into kelley and simply not even consider your application. i might get monkey shit for this, but it's the truth 99/100 times.

thanks for being truthful and upfront about it. I need these kind of advice so that I don't waste my parents' money and my 4 years.
