How many W's is within the acceptable zone?
The number I post commonly see as per a standard for accepted amount of W's is 2. Is this correct?

I belive I had two Ws. I never really gave it a second thought when I was applying for jobs out of school. I realized I didn't want to be a doctor in my sophomore year and withdrew from my Bio and Chem classes that semester. As a young naive immature college student you should be allowed a few Ws on your transcript that nobody can fault you for.
One important thing to note, if the Ws are in your major then it's going to look worse. i.e. if you withdrew from a core Finance class as a Finance major then that might raise some eyebrows as opposed to withdrawing from some bs non-core class.
According to adcoms, as long as the Ws don't show a pattern, they could care less.
had 2 or 3, but its because i switched major and realized 2 weren't needed and then 1 I think i was failing.
